Peer Review Network

HSIsolutions offers a provider peer review program for medical professionals in North Dakota. This system allows a provider to review the medical care delivered by other practitioners in order to assess the quality of health care and determine whether accepted standards of care have been met.

As a part of Medicare quality assurance programs, all critical access hospitals must have an arrangement with an outside entity to review the appropriateness of the diagnosis and treatment offered by each provider serving patients. This includes practitioners who deliver telemedicine services to patients from a distant-site hospital or distant-site telemedicine entity.
